seiu yang is a taiwanese-american artist and traveling storyteller, working through clay, soft sculptures, found objects, installation, and myth. since 2023, seiu has journeyed across the world through artist residencies and intuitive travel, collecting memories, landscapes, and moments of transformation. their work weaves together psychological introspection and deeply personal themes of memory, trauma, and healing, using art as a way to unpack the enduring influence of both childhood and the shifting experiences of a nomadic life. each piece becomes a vessel for subconscious play and self actualization, holding space for layered stories we carry across time and place.

rooted in dreamlike narratives, seiu's sculptures and installations take the form of animal and mythical spirits, symbolic figures, and archetypal beings - touchstones between personal catharsis and collective mythology. through tender storytelling and the reinvention of childhood imagery, seiu builds quiet realms that invite viewers into a shared space of wonder, grief, and becoming. their work offers not just objects, but portals: soft gateways into healing, memory, and the ongoing act of finding home within oneself.
